Whats new in Access 2016

Jeff Conrad from the Access Team recently released this list of new features for Access 2016.

Personally I am still on 2010, but it does look like some of the features are features the Access community has been requested for quite a while, such as a bigger Linked Table screen, and table selector. There doesn’t seem to be major updates, but it is nice to see that something has happened.

The company I work for has gone from being part of a large conglomerate to being on its own(80 people, 40 pc’s) so since we have to rethink(read streamline) our data management techniques which are already relying on Access client, at times with SQL Server backends, other times with Access backends and a mixture of Access and VB.net frontends, I was wondering whether to bank on the possilities offered by Citrix or Azure RemoteApp and foregoing Access Web Apps or changing the strategy completely and choosing AWA’s.
By the way, what’s the code to add to your ChartToExcel function if, for example, you want to change the colour of the line labelled ProdPrev from blue to green?
